Introducing Dark Mode

You can now use Accio Patent in Dark Mode. The app follows your device's settings. I introduced a few other under-the-hood changes, so you will need to be running iOS 13.0 or higher to take advantage of the latest version. Premium subscribers: PDFs still display with dark text on light backgrounds even in Dark Mode.

iPhone J.D. Review

Thanks, iPhone J.D., for the great review! The app streamlines the task of fetching a patent in multiple ways. First, the app makes it as easy as possible to enter the patent number. You can type the number using a numeric keypad. Better yet, if you have access to a hard copy of the first page, you can tap the barcode button at the top right of the app to scan the barcode. For anyone who is not already reading Jeff Richardson's excellent site, iPhone J.D. is the oldest and largest website for lawyers using iPhones and iPads. Please check out…

Frequently Asked Questions

The FAQ page is now live. Get answers to questions like, "Which countries are supported?" and "When should I use the dial pad?" and—my personal favorite—"Why do I need a barcode scanner if I already have the patent with a barcode on it?!" I will add more questions and answers over time. If you need any help with Accio Patent in the meantime, please reach out: support@acciopatent.com.
